The Industry’s First Crossover Processor on ARM Cortex-M7
NXP’s i.MX RT Series is the industry’s first crossover processor based on Arm Cortex-M7. This gives users a high performance at 600MHz and the functional capabilities of an application processor, with the ease-of-use and real-time deterministic operation of traditional microcontrollers.
The i.MX RT1050 offers high levels of integration and a rich user experience with a 2D graphics acceleration engine, LCD display, and camera interface.
"We are impressed to see TouchGFX taking full advantage of the i.MX RT1050’s 2D graphics accelerator and ample on-chip RAM to deliver the best-in-class embedded GUIs. The TouchGFX GUI framework now supports NXP’s LPC and i.MX RT families of processors, offering a complete range of GUI performance to meet broad embedded application needs."– Joe Yu, VP of Low Power i.MX Product Line at NXP.
