Insyde® Software has qualified its InsydeH2O® UEFI firmware for Arm AGI CPU reference platforms, providing developers of next-generation AI infrastructure with a proven, production-ready firmware foundation. In addition, Insyde® Software has readied its production-verified Supervyse OPF OpenBMC firmware for Arm AGI CPU-based AI server racks.
For OEMs, ODMs, system integrators and cloud service providers, this means a shorter path from platform bring-up to production, with firmware designed to support the security, compliance and manageability requirements of high-density AI compute environments.
A production-ready firmware foundation for Arm AGI CPU
The qualification expands the firmware ecosystem surrounding the Arm AGI CPU platform. Insyde supports the full Arm AGI CPU reference board with UEFI compliance, platform security and manageability capabilities designed for demanding AI workloads.
For development teams, having qualified firmware available early in the platform lifecycle can remove significant integration work. Rather than building the firmware foundation from scratch, engineers can start with technology that is already used across millions of devices in cloud, enterprise and edge environments.
This builds on Insyde's earlier integration with the Arm Fixed Virtual Platform, which has provided customers with early access for evaluation.
Supporting the demands of agentic AI infrastructure
Agentic AI places new demands on data center infrastructure. CPUs, accelerators, memory and cloud-native services need to operate together efficiently at rack scale.
That makes the underlying firmware an important part of the system architecture. Reliable boot, platform security and remote manageability need to be considered from the start, rather than added later in development.
With InsydeH2O UEFI and Supervyse OPF OpenBMC, system builders working with Arm AGI CPU platforms gain firmware foundations aimed at accelerating the transition from silicon to a production-ready system. Arm itself highlighted that the combination strengthens its ecosystem by giving developers a proven foundation for production-ready AI infrastructure.
InsydeH2O UEFI and Supervyse OpenBMC
The announcement brings together two important parts of Insyde's firmware portfolio.
InsydeH2O UEFI provides the system firmware foundation for Arm AGI CPU reference platforms, supporting UEFI compliance, platform security and the requirements of high-density compute environments.
Supervyse OPF OpenBMC provides OpenBMC-based system management capabilities and has been production-verified for Arm AGI CPU-based AI server racks.
Together, these technologies address both platform initialization and system management, helping development teams create secure, manageable and reliable AI infrastructure.
