Lattix 2026.0 brings AI-assisted architecture analysis into the development workflow

Lattix has released Lattix 2026.0, bringing architecture analysis closer to the everyday development workflow with a new MCP Server, expanded language support and improvements in automation and performance.

From architecture analysis to AI-assisted remediation

The headline addition in Lattix 2026.0 is the new Lattix MCP Server, connecting Lattix architecture models with AI assistants.

This makes architecture intelligence directly available within AI-assisted development workflows. For example, engineers can use Lattix to identify dependencies that prevent software reuse, provide that architectural context to an AI assistant and work towards resolving unwanted coupling.

Lattix demonstrates this workflow in VS Code, combining MCP integration with root-cause analysis and branch verification. This creates a shorter path from identifying an architectural issue to investigating and validating a potential solution.

New Ada support for safety-critical software

Lattix 2026.0 also introduces a new Ada module, expanding architecture analysis for teams developing safety-critical, embedded and defence software.

For C++ development, the Lattix C++ module has been updated to Clang 17, while Clang 12 remains available for compatibility with existing projects.

These additions give engineering teams working with complex software systems more options for understanding dependencies, assessing architectural impact and controlling complexity as their codebase evolves.

Better automation and visibility

The release also extends the Lattix Python API, enabling more Lattix functionality to be integrated into automated development processes. Command-line capabilities have also been enhanced through the ldc tools.

Configurable views and filters allow teams to save different perspectives of a system, while additional controls for tag indicators in DSM and CAD views help engineers focus on the architecture information relevant to their task.

Lattix 2026.0 also introduces performance improvements for large projects, supporting architecture analysis as software systems and their dependency structures grow.
